We are living in an unprecedented time. Over the last two and a half months and in response to COVID-19, we have seen the world around us change rapidly. As we continue to monitor and assess the latest facts about the global COVID-19 outbreak, I write to you to reiterate our commitment to the health and well-being of our employees, customers, partners, and communities as our top priority.
We recognize many of your organizations support essential life-supporting and critical infrastructure operations, and we are privileged to contribute to your operations in varying capacities. With this in mind, I believe it is important to share the measures Red Lion is taking to safeguard the health of employees and protect the communities in which we live and work, all the while preserve our ability to operate and supply to you.
We are following guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and national, state, and local governments around the world. We have a global business continuity team in place to monitor and proactively adapt our operations to support the health and safety of all our stakeholders.
In Pennsylvania, where the Red Lion main factory is located, the Governor has ordered non-life sustaining businesses to close. Given the nature of products we produce and the industries we support, Red Lion will continue manufacturing operations.
Nonetheless, we have limited access to our operations to essential employees while using remote technologies to ensure continued support for our customers, operations and employees around the world. We have encouraged those in our global workforce who can work remote to do so, and where necessary, have mandated it for their own safety. For example, two functions working remotely are our outstanding Technical Support and Customer Service teams, who are available and ready to provide the same excellent services. We can be reached through normal methods at Contact Red Lion.
We understand the global impact this pandemic is having on our personal and professional lives. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
Thank you for your ongoing support. Be well and take care.
Gratefully,
Jack Lee
President, Red Lion
